Dee Dee
Martin
Counseling Intern
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy at Colorado Christian University, and the wife of an Air Force veteran with four grown children. Having experienced the realities of military life and deployments, I bring personal and professional understanding to my work with current and former service members and their families.
Grounded in a Christian worldview, I approach from client-centered models and respect the personal and spiritual values my clients bring to the therapy process. When working with couples, I utilize the evidence-based practices of the Gottman Method Levels 1 and 2. My work is shaped by the belief that each person is created with inherent dignity and the capacity to growth, and I hope to honor the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. Whether working with couples seeking reconnection, individuals carrying the weight of trauma, or families adjusting to the new stages of life, I strive to provide a therapeutic relationship rooted in empathy, hope, truth, and grace.

Testimonial
My experience as an individual that received counseling from The Care Center was absolutely amazing. Having a licensed counslor with tons of experience was very helpful during my sessions. I always left with tools to help me process feelings, rather than just venting.
The prices were so affordable that my children started to attend weekly counseling as well! The house was a lot calmer and we were able to communicate better after only a few sessions. We are so grateful for the affordable counseling we received at The Care Center.
